Buenos Aires, Argentina Central Business District
The older that I have gotten, the more I have realized America is not the shiny, sparkly, star-spangled greatness that we as Americans were raised up to believe. While reading Karl Ove Knausgaard's articles of his travels in America, it makes one realize that the world is just as dangerous here at home as it is anywhere else. I feel that some people use fear as a reason to not travel, especially as Americans because there are a lot of people who do no like Americans. The key to travel is to keep an open mind. I love the idea how America is just so diverse that each time you cross a state line it is like crossing over to another country. Each state, let alone city, has it own personality. This makes me so anxious for Buenos Aires, to actually get to embrace the difference.
My three cities were Pittsburgh, Irving, and San Antonio for my dialectic quiz. Obviously, it hit spot on since I am from Pittsburgh and have a strong Pittsburghuese accent.
